“Ambabari”, is actually a place near Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. However there is no documentation available stating the origin of the design of the elephant from this region. But this traditional ethnic Indian style of dressing of the elephant was widely used to decorate the elephants of the “Maharaj” or the “King” and the royal family only.

It was one of the most stylish and luxurious way of travelling for the royal families.
