Brass Beer Mugs & Aftabas

Aftaba or Ewer is a kind of water container usually used to carry liquids. This vessel is generally of a curved shape. The earliest Indian Ewers were found in the Sultanate Period which was the 14th and 15th century. Most of the Aftaba’s have a long neck which resembles the Indian flower vase.
